We at New Hope Press have as our primary mission the publishing of Catholic books, mainly based on Marian apparitions. However, we consider as well all faith-based books dedicated to bringing the Good News Gospel message of Jesus Christ to as many people as possible.

Our motivation as a publishing house stems from the incredible apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the mountain village of Medjugorje in Bosnia-Hercegovina, which have occurred daily for more than 38 years. With this as a goal, we have presently published five books on the subject.

In 2010, I felt the call to establish a publishing house to help accomplish the spreading of the essence of the messages from the Blessed Virgin at Medjugorje. We started small and have grown modestly in our short history. Our top priority in each manuscript is truth and authenticity of the subject, coupled with top quality of the finished product. We follow that with energetic marketing.

While we are dedicated to spreading the messages of the Blessed Virgin Mary at Medjugorje through our books, we invite all inquiries and submissions from authors and book outlets on related spiritual writings, including books for children and young adults. Fiction and non-fiction works are accepted. We are open to serving the needs of all aspiring authors.

-- Wayne Weible, Publisher

Sadly in 2018, Wayne Weible passed away but his publishing house and his legacy of speading the messages of the Virgin Mary at Medjugorje, and thus the good news that God exisits and love us all, continues on by his wife, Judith Weible.

About Author Wayne Weible:

Wayne Weible

Wayne Weible has authored nine books on his experiences and investigations of the reported apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the village of Medjugorje, all which have become international best sellers.  His first book--Medjugorje: The Message, has sold more than 500,000 copies in the U.S. and an estimated 500,000 in other languages around the world.  This is the top selling book internationally on the Medjugorje apparitions.

Weible is a former newspaper publisher and columnist.  He became interested in the alleged apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary, to six young Croations in the tiny farming village of Medjugorje in Bosnia-Hercegovina,  in October 1985.  Weible decided to write an article about them for his four weekly newspapers.  It was while viewing a video tape of the apparitions as research for the article that Weible, a Protestant at that time, states, “I suddenly felt a strong message within my heart that not only was I to write about these events, but I was to devote my life to the spreading of its basic message of reconciliation with God.

The Miracle At Medjugorje, a collection of a series of newspaper articles, was originally published in Sept. 1986.  From an initial printing of 3,000 copies, Miracle At Medjugorje distribution has reached an astounding 100 million-plus copies and is still distributed throughout the world.  Weible Columns, Inc. continues to publish The Medjugorje Newsletter monthly.

Weible spends most of his professional time writing and lecturing on the phenomenon of Medjugorje, travelling throughout the world and the United States.  He has appeared on numerous national, regional and local television and radio programs including the Mother Angelica Television Show, and the Oprah Winfrey Show.  Weible has traveled to Medjugorje more than 100 times and continues to lead groups each year.  He is personally acquainted with all of the visionaries. In 1991, he converted to the Roman Catholic Church; however, he continues to emphasize that  “The message coming from the Virgin Mary in Medjugorje is for all faiths, not just for Catholics--or for that matter just for Christians.”  Weible is married and lives with his wife in Hiawassee, Georgia.  He is a graduate of the University of South Carolina, with a degree in Journalism and is preparing to pursue a Masters degree in theology.

Sadly in 2018, Wayne Weible passed away but his publishing house and his legacy of speading the messages of the Virgin Mary at Medjugorje, and thus the good news that God exisits and love us all, continues on by his wife, Judith Weible.

About Author Michael Ripple:

Micahel Ripple

Michael Ripple was born in 1965, the youngest of three.  Following graduation from high school he entered collegiate seminary formation for the Roman Catholic Church.  He left the following year and went on to complete his undergraduate studies. But the call to priesthood did not let up.  Once again he returned to graduate seminary studies and was ordained a Roman Catholic priest.

Years later Michael left not only the priesthood but the Church.  He married and relocated with his wife and son.  He then continued his graduate work in clinical psychology and became a court appointed therapist for at risk youth and families.  Realizing that he, his wife, and son would never be welcomed into the Roman Catholic Church, he renounced his faith and joined the Episcopal Church.  Michael was soon called to be the rector of a congregation.  Life was finally settled.

Following a pilgrimage that Michael made to Medjugorje, in order to give thanks for his wife’s healing from cancer, he and his wife felt a simultaneous call to return to the  Roman Catholic Church.

Today, Michael works part time in parish ministry.  A gifted speaker and retreat master for young and old, his ministry has come full circle, encompassing the totality of his vocation as husband and father.  Michael’s vast experiences as diocesan priest, counselor, episcopal rector, father, and husband speak to a variety of ages and vocations.

He lives with his lovely wife, son, and father.  In addition, several unruly hounds add to their daily contemplative lifestyle.
